You tell us about your project. We’ll talk about timescales, budget, the stage you’re at, and ask for drawings if you have them. If you have any ‘must haves’ now's the time to tell us, or any specific design requirements be sure to let us know. The more you tell us now the better.

We create a proposal for you with our design thoughts and suggestions. We will present this to you through an online video call. We can make tweaks and changes there and then and get to some form of an initial design.

We will email you an estimate based on the initial design we have settled on. This will give you an indication of what this kitchen will cost you. Obviously any future changes you make can alter the estimate but it is a good indication of where the price is at.

If at this stage you are happy with the initial design and quote and wish to proceed in partnering with us, we now look for a booking deposit from you. This will secure you in our fitting schedule and we can now release drawings to you. Please understand that we do not release any drawings until a booking deposit has been placed.

We will issue any electrical plans needed for your builder and will engage with them to ensure the build is in line with our design. We can meet them on site also if required.

We will meet with you to go through all the finishes and finer details of your design. I will bring samples to you and we will work closely together to ensure all the finishes work beautifully together. Once we have agreed on the final details we will then issue our final quote and sign off drawings approx 8 weeks before the kitchen installation. At this stage we will require 50% payment from you.

As our agreed installation date draws closer we will require confirmation of installation dates from you and your builder. Often despite the best of intentions, builds take longer than expected so we like to fix our fitting dates with a realistic approach. We will require a final fitting date that cannot be moved 2 weeks before the due installation. We will require 40% payment at this stage.

Your kitchen is fitted by our expert team of fitters and we will schedule your worktop to be templated. The process from installation day to kitchen completion can be anything from 1 week (for laminate worktops) to 5 weeks for stone and a hand painted finish.

We will return to make a snag list of your kitchen and walk you through the kitchen. If there are any outstanding items our fitter will return to finalise and finish to ensure your kitchen is exactly how we envisioned it.

We will enjoy a nice cup of coffee together in your fabulous new Vidvei Kitchen, sign off and relax in your gorgeous new space! We will require the final 10% payment at this stage.
